Fort Gay, W.Va. — In a battle of future Rebels on Thursday Fort Gay and Crum spilt a boy/girl doubleheader. 

 

#21 Makayla Tussey grabs a rebound against Wayne on Monday. 

Crum 44 Fort Gay 7 ( Girls ) 

The Mountaineers got off to a good start and never cruised to the road victory. 

Kalynn Salmons tallied 11 points to pace the victors, Gracie Marcum added 9 points, Kilee Nelson netted 8 points, Carly Johnson chipped in with 7 points, Piper Pack finished with 4 points, Emily Marcum scored 3 points, Greenlee Vance had 2 points. 

Crum went 6 of 12 from the foul line and hit 2 three pointers. 

The Vikings were led by Olivia Kelly with 6 points, Makayla Tussey had 1 point. 

Fort Gay went 1 of 4 from the foul line. 

Fort Gay 44 Crum 27 ( Boys ) 

#11 Braylon Conn hits a three pointer as #4 Peyton Rice defends. 

Robert Evans led the Vikings with 17 points, CJ Waller tallied 9 points, Braylon Conn added 6 points, Brody Caudill netted 4 points, Braxton Jones had 3 points, Kyndul Kincaid, Caleb and Chase Thompson had 2 points each. 

The Mountaineers were led by Steeler Salmons with 12 points, Peyton Muncy added 9 points, Nathan Messer chipped in with 4 points, Aiden Maynard chipped in with 2 points. 

Wayne 44 Fort Gay 17 ( Girls )

The Vikings were led by Olivia Kelly with 9 points, Peyten Johnson Johnson scored 4 points, Bri Crabtree and Macy Daniel had 2 points each. 

Jayce Sammons led the Pioneers with 16 points, Megan Thompson 9 points, Maddie Dillon 8 points, Kinley Thompson 6 points, Abby Williamson 3 points, Jaycee Mills 2 points. 

Wayne 48 Fort Gay 44 ( Boys ) 

Wayne erased a 13 point deficit to stun the Vikings on Monday. 

The Vikings were led by Robert Evans with 18 points, CJ Waller tallied 11 points, Brody Caudill added 5 points, Zach Waller added 4 points, Kyndul Kincaid chipped in with 3 points, Caleb Thompson 2 points and Greyson Golden 1 point.
