South Bend, IN. — Former Lawrence Co. star athlete Gerad Parker is being promoted to Offensive Coordinator at the University of Notre Dame.
Parker, 42, was the tight ends coach this past season for the Fighting Irish and Head Coach Marcus Freeman chose to keep the OC hire within.
Parker was a two sport standout for the Bulldogs, starring on the gridiron and the hardwood in the late 1990’s before playing wide receiver at the University of Kentucky.
Parker has also coached at West Virginia, Penn St., Duke, Purdue, Marshall, UT Martin and Kentucky.
