COACH’S COMMENTS

“… I’m really proud of the Lady Dawgs for the 2024 District Championship win. Taylor Blevins started in the circle and threw a perfect game. Abby Nelson stays hot and hits a grand slam for her 3rd homer in a week. Bree Jones and Dani Crum were lightning on the bags, Hallie Adkins had a very good game at the plate and in the field.”

“… Lawrence County is fortunate enough to have the District POTY in Dani Crum and 6 all district players. (Hallie Adkins, Taylor Blevins, Brooklyn Ellis, Bree Jones,  Abby Nelson, and Jada Patton). These players were recognized last night, but you can’t say enough about players like Abby Maynard, Gracie Preece, Ella Smith, Addy Woods and a host of others who are cornerstones of this team who also deserve recognition for their play all year. I truly feel this team is a family, and they are happy for other teammates’ success.”

“… We look forward to the Region tournament next week and look to stay hot in the heat going forward.”

This was my first season to watch the Dawgs and it was the most exciting I’ve seen in a while. #17 is my granddaughter with this being her first year as an LC student. This has been a great year for her and the happiest I’ve seen her in a while. Thank you LC for welcoming her and being so good to her! This team has become a family to her and we have all come to love them all. Great team! Great coaches!
