COACH’S COMMENTS

“… Really proud of our girls it was a special event to be a part of, first girls game here in 50 years. I thought our girls competed hard. Chris Ball does a fantastic job with Chesapeake a former player of mine and they were a little short handed tonight but they battled and made it hard on us. I was going to fire the free throw coach but realized it was me so I may hold off on that.”

“… Glad that we finished tonight we haven’t put four quarters together much this season. Our defense was effective and that led us to some easy baskets. Autumn Block played well and Julie Boone along with Katie Marcum battled inside.”

“… So happy to be asked to play in this event and was pleased with the crowd tonight. I have been coming here for a long time and so glad that they are keeping it alive and have put a ton of work into it and it’s absolutely beautiful. So many people in the community have put in a lot of work to make this possible.”
