OCTOBER 25, 2018 – written by WADE QUEEN

Ivanka Trump will join Gov. Matt Bevin in Eastern Kentucky Friday to learn more abut workforce training programs in the region.

Presidential First Daughter Ivanka Trump is coming to eastern Kentucky to visit job training centers with Kentucky Republican Governor Matt Bevin.

Ms. Trump, who is the daughter of President Donald Trump and works as an adviser to his administration, has focused on workforce development, making similar visits to Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

The White House stated in a press release that Ms.Trump ( who sometimes goes by her married name of Ivanka Trump-Kushner ) will visit three training centers in Eastern Kentucky on Friday October 26. Ms. Trump and Governor Bevin are scheduled to tour the eKentucky Advanced Manufacturing Institute in Paintsville, Big Sandy Community and Technical College in Prestonsburg and Morehead State University in Morehead.

Governor Bevin’s office confirmed the visit on Wednesday. The governor’s spokeswoman Elizabeth Kuhn said the visit to Morehead State University would focus on the aerospace industry, which has accounted for $1.5 billion in investment announcements and 2,800 jobs in Kentucky since January 2016.

Ivanka Trump’s visit to eastern Kentucky makes the second time in less than a month that family members of President Donald Trump’s children has visited eastern Kentucky. At the end of September, Donald Trump Jr. and his son Donald Trump III visited and went elk hunting in Martin County and also the Hazard, Ky. area, as well falconry ( prey hunting with trained hawk birds ) in Martin County. In an earlier visit in early 2017, Donald Trump Jr. used a bow and arrow to kill a 700 pound bull elk on private property in Martin County.
