The Fallsburg Vol. Fire Dept. was notified recently that they were awarded a Ky Division of Forestry Grant for equipment. The amount of the grant $5,290 which $2,645 will be reimbursement. The grant is a 50/50 Grant.
The equipment to be purchased is 10 Pairs of Fire Boots, 10 Pairs of Fire Gloves, Fire Hose, and a First Aid Kit . This is the 3rd year in a row the Fire Dept. has received this grant for equipment from the Ky Division of Forestry.
The Dept. is very appreciative of this much needed funding.
