Apple picking time…1940’s
Fall in KY at Mills Farm on Middlefork. Papaw Mills picking apples in the late 40’s. All stored in the apple cellar for sale over winter. I can remember the apple smell in that cellar as if it was yesterday. Oh yes, the grandkids were special, we got to eat the ones starting to spoil.
