Facing Hunger Foodbank Hosts Drive-Thru Food Distribution in Wayne County, WV
Wayne Co., WV – Facing Hunger Foodbank is making a difference in the lives of the communities they serve by hosting a drive-thru mobile food distribution in Dunlow, WV at Cabwaylingo (1385 Left Fork Dunlow Bypass Rd.) on Thursday, May 18th. Members of Facing Hunger Foodbank and volunteers will distribute meat, produce, dry goods, and other nutritious items beginning at 11am and will continue until 12pm or until the product is gone; Facing Hunger looks to serve over 200 households, on a first come, first served basis. Almost 15% of Wayne County’s population lives with food insecurity, including 20% of the county’s children.
