LAWRENCE COUNTY ARREST LIST – APRIL 12-17, 2017

BULLIT COUNTY, KENTUCKY MAN ARRESTED ON MAJOR DRUG POSSESSION, OTHER FELONY CHARGES, INCLUDING BEING ESCAPED INMATE

OUT OF THE 71 INMATES BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE FROM 12:01 A.M. APRIL 12 THRU 11:59 P.M. APRIL 17, 10 WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY.

ALSO, THE NUMBER OF INMATES BEING HOUSED AT THE BSRDC IS CREEPING UP AGAIN, WHERE AS OF 9 P.M. TUESDAY APRIL 18, THE TOTAL IS 269 INMATES. THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER’S DESIGNATED MAXIMUM CAPACITY IS 225 INMATES.

THE NAMES OF THE TEN MOST RECENT LAWRENCE COUNTY ARRESTS ARE THE FOLLOWING:

 Charles D PerkinsCharles D Perkins, 24, of Louisa, was arrested on April 12, 2017, at 11:14 A.M., by an officer of the Louisa Police Department and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR.

Later on April 12, at 4:59 P.M., Charles D. Perkins, was taken into custody by deputy Akers of the Pike County Sheriff Department and was transferred to the Pike County Detention Center on Pikeville, on the failure to appear charge, and he is being held on no bond, where he remains in custody as Tuesday evening April 18.

 

 

 

 

 

Tommy CastleTommy Castle, 20, of Louisa, turned himself in on April 12, 2017 at 2:47 P.M to the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, to serve jail time for: • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

 

 

 

 

 

Andrew PerryAndrew Perry, 34, of Louisa, was arrested on April 13, 2017, at 1:33 P.M., by Sheriff Garrett Roberts of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • DOMESTIC ABUSE – DUTIES OF LAW ENFORCEMENT.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Leslie Scott TriplettLeslie Scott Triplett, 42, of Louisa, was arrested on April 13, 2017, at 2:11 P.M., by officer Boleyn, of the Kentucky Department of Corrections Division of Probation and Parole, and was charged with: • PAROLE VIOLATION (FOR TECHNICAL VIOLATION).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Derick DelkDerick Delk, 38, of Lebanon Junction, Kentucky; was arrested on April 13, 2017, at 8:37 P.M., by chief deputy Mark Wheeler of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (COCAINE), • POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA, • FLAGRANT NON SUPPORT, • PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER I, • ESCAPE 2ND DEGREE-(IDENTIFY FACILITY), • TAMPERING WITH/PRISONER MONITORING DEVICE, • THEFT BY FAILURE TO MAKE REQUIRED DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY, • RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY UNDER/$10,000 ( 3 SEPARATE COUNTS), • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE), • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS.

 

 

 

 

Michael GrahamMichael Graham, 62, of Blaine, Kentucky; was arrested on April 13, 2017, at 8:44 P.M., by trooper Daniel G. Vossmer, of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE, • LEAVING SCENE OF ACCIDENT-FAILURE TO RENDER AID OR ASSISTANCE.

 

 

 

 

 

 Todd FitzpatrickTodd Fitzpatrick, 22, of Louisa, was arrested on April 14, 2017, at 12:34 P.M., by deputy Chuck Jackson of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • CUSTODIAL INTERFERENCE – FELONY.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Melissa R. Thompson ChafinMelissa R. Thompson-Chafin, 41, of Louisa, was arrested on April 14, 2017, at 1:01 P.M., by officer Billy C. Slone of the Kentucky Department of Corrections Division of Probation and Parole, and was charged with: • PAROLE VIOLATION (FOR FELONY OFFENSE).

 

 

 

 

Joshua TriplettJoshua Triplett, 23, of Webbville, Kentucky; was arrested on April 15, 2017, at 4:05 P.M., by deputy Chuck Jackson of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY UNDER/$500.

 

 

 

 

 

William J. McCoyWilliam J. McCoy, 45, of Louisa, was arrested on April 16, 2017, at 3:01 P.M., by deputy Chuck Jackson of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE), • FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS, • OBSTRUCTED VISION AND/OR WINDSHIELD, • OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE, • FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 2ND DEGREE (ON FOOT).
