Elsie May Lemming Jones, 92, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 14, 2022.

Elsie was born May 17, 1930 in Wilder, VA to the late Gordon and Hazel (Wolfe) Lemming.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bob Jones; son Guy Mink, Jr.; granddaughter Melinda Gail Mink; and brother Earl Lemming.

Elsie was retired from the US Postal Service.

Survivors include her son Charles Steven (Debra Lynn) Mink; grandchildren Charles Steven (Petra) Mink, Jr., Jeffrey Daniel (Misty) Mink; great grandchildren Michelle Mink, Leslie Mink, Austin Tyler Mink, Ava Peterson, Olivia Peterson, and Elijah Mink; great grandchildren Jayce Simpson, Aunnaleigh Krift, and Luca Krift; and sister Shirley Franks.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Combs officiating.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 11:00 AM until time of service in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to: Prestonsburg First United Methodist Church Sound System Fund, 256 S. Arnold Ave., Prestonsburg, KY 41653 or to Prestonsburg Health Care Resident Fund, 147 N. Central Ave., Prestonsburg, KY 41563.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Jones and her family.
