Early voting for the governor’s race began Thursday. It’s also available today, and Saturday. Some may hesitate to vote early, and that’s understandable. But early voting is here to stay, and there are many advantages. Come election day you might be sick, trapped in bad weather, or busy at work which would prevent you from voting.
The laws have changed, and this is an important election for governor and other officials who will lead Kentucky. If you’re not sure where to vote, you can find early voting locations, which are often in a different place, through your county clerk’s office.
{LAWRENCE COUNTY CLERK CHRIS JOBE HAS SET UP AN EARLY VOTING PLACE AT THE COURTHOUSE. HE SAID YESTERDAY THAT THE EARLY VOTING WAS GOING WELL WITH MANY VOTERS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE NEW CHANGES WHICH JOBE ACTUALLY HAD IN PLACE ALREADY.}. “WE HAVEN’T HAD ANY PROBLEMS SO FAR WITH A LOT OF VOTERS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE DRY WEATHER,” JOBE SAID.
Early voting ensures that your vote counts. If you have questions about the election or where to vote go to commonwealthpolicycenter.org. And please, make sure you get out and vote this in election.

IN ADDITION TO THE KY. GOVERNOR’S RACE BETWEEN INCUMBENT ANDY BESHEAR AND CHALLENGER DANIEL CAMERON, PERHAPS THE MOST CONTROVERSIAL, VOTERS WILL HAVE A CHANCE TO SAY FOR OR AGAINST A NEW 11.4 CENTS ON THE HUNDRED TAX RAISE BY THE LAWRENCE CO. BD. OF EDUCATION YO BUILD A $30 MILLION K-2 SCHOOL LWES AND COMBINE FALLSBURG AND BLAINE 7TH &8TH GRADERS TO LMS… ALSO ON THE BALLOT TWO LOUISA CITY COUNCIL SEATS, AND STATE OFFICES SUCH AS SG. COMMISSIONER, SEC OF STATE, TREASURER, ETC.
