The League Season is Complete.

The Awards Banquet will be held

on Tuesday, September 6, 2016

Tuesday, August 30, 2016, ended our season. It has been a great year, and several records have been set. The announcement of the winners will be in next weeks’ Lazer.

Before we continue with last weeks results, I am proud to announce the first hole-in-one for Charlie Hill. This is quite a feat. In fact, according to Golf Digest, an amateur golfer’s chance of an ace is 12,500 to 1. Most golfers never get a hole-in-one. Charlie got his ace on hole number 8, a 125-yard par 3, on Wednesday, August 24. His witnesses were Jim Ratcliffe, Bill England, and Buck Fluty. I am confident that Charlie has retired this ball and will be placing it on display in his home.

Now to report the remainder of the golf news for Tuesday, August 30.
