The Eagle Ridge Golf League play on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, found the course very wet, but still playable. The greens are getting better, but slow. After a cut and rolling, the greens will reach their natural quickness. Some people played in shorts and a tee shirt while others were seen in a jacket. I played in something in between; a long shirt and vest. For me, I vacillated between hot and cold. All in all, it was a good day for golf. It, of course, was cart path only, which makes for a lot of walking.
As anticipated, many players were no shows so makeup rounds are expected. All in all surprisingly good scores were posted.
