DRUG SUSPECT HAS TO BE ‘PRIED’ FROM HIS CAR BY WAYNE DEPUTIES, KENOVA POLICE

Sheriff Rick Thompson stated a drug suspect was arrested during a traffic stop in the Ceredo area.

Sheriff Thompson stated that the Ceredo Police Department made a traffic stop on a suspect wanted after a drug investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit.

Sheriff Thompson stated that the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit and Kenova Police Department assisted on the stop.

Gary ‘Rob’ Muncy refused to get out of the vehicle and had to be forcibly removed from the vehicle.

Methamphetamine and Heroin were found hidden inside the front of his pants.

The Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit filed a warrant for Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Pseudoephedrine Altered after an investigation in the Docks Creek area of Wayne County.

More charges are pending.
