DQ Grill & Chill® Restaurant Opens in Louisa
Multi-Brand Operator Brings World-Leading QSR Concept To Lawrence County
LOUISA, KY – Louisa just got a whole lot sweeter.
American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ), franchisor of the timeless DQ® brand cherished for its delectable fare and classic frozen treats, recently announced its new DQ Grill & Chill® restaurant opening in Louisa. Conveniently located at 27 Commerce Drive, the restaurant is locally owned by James Booth and operated by James Mills.
The Louisa location is set to open on June 15.

Mills has 35 plus years of experience with fast food brands, tobacco outlets and various c-stores, as he owns several Subways, a KFCTC and two Papa John locations. As a seasoned restauranteur, Mills will work alongside his dedicated team made up of Helen Bowen, Sandy Feltner, Rebecca Smith, Teresa Whitt to operate the Louisa DQ Grill & Chill®.
Striking the perfect balance between yesterday and today, the DQ Grill & Chill® flagship concept modernizes guests’ dining experience by offering made-to-order lunch and dinner options including GrillBurgers™, Chicken Strip Baskets and delicious hot sandwiches. Has no one in louisie been to a dairy queen? Why would you wait in line half hour to an hour to get a blizzard?
Maybe to support local business so other nice things may come to this mud hole of a town.

There is one in cannonburg and summit area also in Grayson and Floyd co. They are all over lol it’s just some place new for people to eat.
