Doris A. Preston, 73, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV.

Doris was born December 8, 1944 to the late Frank and Irene (Davis) Boyd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Willa Margaret Webb, Jewel Abrams, and Juanita Preston.

Survivors include her children Sheila Kaye (Joe) Bowen of Ft. Gay, WV, Curtis (Neffie) Preston of Paintsville, KY and Eddie Lee (Sandy) of Louisa, KY; grandchildren Megan, Kyle, Shelby, Nadalee, Jessica, Annie, and Josh; 3 great grandchildren; sisters Carol Sue Lacks of Worthington, KY, Darlene Sartin of Ft. Gay, WV, Peggy Fitch of Louisa, KY; and Patricia Lacks of Raceland, KY; and brothers Billy Joe Boyd of Flatwoods, KY; Tommy Boyd of Louisa, KY; and Charles Ed Boyd of Raceland, KY.

Funeral services for Ms. Preston will be conducted Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darin Featheroff officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverview Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Monday, December 18, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
