Dixie I. Hensley 70 of Louisa, KY passed away Thursday July 1, 2021 at the UK Medical Center following a brief illness.

Dixie was born December 11, 1950, at Louisa, KY, the daughter of the late Chester and Myrite Carter Jobe. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Larry Hollis Hensley; a stepdaughter Melissa Hensley; siblings Hershel, Harold, James, Charles, Clifford Jobe, Rosemary Pennington, Doris Workman, Lorene McGaffee.

Survivors include a daughter Sherrie (David) York, a son Terry Hensley, Sisters Jewell Triplett, and Sharon Campbell; Grandchildren Michele Stacy, LaShea York, Justin McKinney; Great-Grandchildren Shane Howard and Morgan Stacy; and a Special Friend Brenda Haney.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday July 10th at the Yatesville Memorial Gardens.

Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
