Delbert Ray Chaney, Jr., 47, of Fort Gay, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 2, 2021 at his home.
Delbert was born April 7, 1974 in Huntington, WV to Delbert Ray Chaney, Sr. and Gloria June Workman. Delbert was preceded in death by his grandparents Corey and Curtis Chaney and Doris and Albert Newsom.
Delbert loved to hunt, to fish, and to ride 4 wheelers. He loved to work on 4 wheelers and anything he could get his hands on.
Delbert leaves behind his parents Delbert Ray Chaney, Sr. and Gloria June Workman; wife Jennifer Chaney; children Patrick (Haley) Chaney, Justin Chaney, Michael Chaney, Tiffany Chaney, and Emily Chaney; siblings Vicky (Garland) Pack, Della Marcum, and Stephanie (Adam Lowe) Marcum; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 12:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Brother David Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Chaney-Pack Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
