Debbie Sue Evans Baker

1974 — 2018

Debbie Sue Evans Baker, 43, of Ranger, went home to be with the Lord on February 5, 2018 after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Debbie was born September 11, 1974 in Louisa to Robert Brent Evans, who preceded her in death and Pattie Thompson Evans, who survives. Debbie was a nurse at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Edward Baker, Jr.; sons Kane and Chase; daughter Brooklyn; stepdaughter Jacqui; three brothers, Robert Evans of Fort Gay, WV, Brent Evans of Fort Gay, WV, and Timmy Ray Evans, of Alexandria, OH; sister Brenda Evans of Fort Gay, WV; nieces Brittney, Lauren, Loreal, Cheyann; and nephews Robert, Brayden, Carson, and Jamison.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Oak Grove Church in Fort Gay, WV with Pastor Mack Cyrus officiating. Burial will follow in the Thompson Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Oak Grove Church beginning at 6:00 PM. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.youngfuneralhomeinc.com.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Baker.
