Louisa, Ky. — Lawrence Co. Youth Football League had a banner day this past weekend as the Dawgs swept the Tolsia Rebels at Luke Varney Jr. Memorial Stadium on a beautiful day for football. These were the last regular season games before the playoffs begin this Saturday.

Lawrence Co. 34 Tolsia 0 ( D Team )
Gray Derefield and Mitchell Frazier had two touchdowns, Colton McDowell added a 18 yard scamper to lead the Bulldogs ( 4-3 ) to victory over the Rebels. Derefield had runs of 70 yard and 71 yard TDs, Frazier had touchdown runs of 18 and 15 yards. Chase Kendrick and Jorel Fountain had a two point conversion each.
Lawrence Co. 30 Tolsia 6 ( C Team )
Andrew Ratcliffe had 3 touchdown runs and 1 fumble recovery for a score and Connor York had a 5 yard TD to lead the Dawgs ( 2-5 ) past the Rebels.
Kaden Johnson had a 64 yard touchdown run for the Rebels only points for the day.
Lawrence Co. 36 Tolsia 0 ( A Team )
The Bulldogs had 7 different players find the end zone in a shutout of the Rebels. Cody Crum 1 yard TD, Caden Ball 10 yard TD, Ryan Marcum 36 yard TD, Ford Scaggs 19 yard TD, Jake Derefield 55 yard TD, Russell Lemaster and Will McDavid both had a two point conversion run.

The Bulldogs will open up the playoffs on Saturday at home. First game will be at 9:00am Saturday morning. All teams from Lawrence Co. will be in action.
