Louisa, Ky. — With a double header sweep of Phelps on Tuesday night Lawrence Co. wrapped up the number one seed in the upcoming 60th District tournament that will be played at home for the first time since 2010.
The Dawgs moved to a perfect 6-0 in District action and 13-5 on the season overall. LC has also won 6 in a row.

Jackson Feltner had two hits and five RBIs to pace the offense. Bryce Blevins went six innings, striking out seven and only giving up one run to get the victory on the mound. Lucas Maynard pitched the seventh in relief.
Austin Roe tallied two hits and scored a run, Hunter Crum had two hits and an RBI, CJ Fairchild had two hits and scored three times, Dakota Shortridge had two hits and one RBI, Kade Sword chipped in with two RBIs, Brad Parks one hit and scored twice.

CJ Fairchild went six innings in relief striking out 14 and not surrendering a hit to get the win. Phelps ( 9-7 ) scored one run in the first on two hits before Fairchild entered the game and that was all she wrote.
Austin Roe had two hits, three RBIs and one run, Brad Parks tallied two hits including a double, three runs and scored a run, Hunter Crum had two hits, and scored twice, CJ Fairchild doubled, had one RBI, and scored a run, Jackson Feltner had a hit, RBI, and scored a run, Lucas Maynard scored twice and knocked in one, Dakota Shortridge had a hit and scored a run, Trace Bowen scored once.
The Dawgs will return to action at Home this Saturday beginning at noon vs Powell Co. and then at 5:00 vs Fleming Co.
