COACH’S COMMENTS

“… It’s always good get out of Prestonsburg with a win. Much better feeling this season than last when we lost. This was our most important game of the season so far because it was our first District game and to come away with a win is great. So proud of our guys for battling through some adversity and foul trouble as well.”

“… Best game Dawson Bellomy has played this season, I think that will give him some confidence moving forward. Really really proud of him. Trenton Adkins got into some early foul trouble and Dawson stepped up.”

“… Total team effort for us tonight plus we had some balanced scoring as well. I thought we played hard and were flying around and getting deflections, that is a recipe for success.”

“… Magoffin Co. has a really nice team year in and year out. They are in a tough District and don’t get much recognition but they gave us all we wanted Tuesday night. Really good win for us, Aden Barnett is a nice player and gave us fits especially in the first half. They will win a bunch of games this season.”
