Grayson, Ky. — After losing at home on Monday night Lawrence Co. ( 1-1 ) bounced back with a good road victory 57-52 over East Carter ( 0-1 ) to even their record on the young season.
Tyler Maynard led the Dawgs with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists against the Raiders.
Cody Maynard chipped in with 12 points, Noah Fairchild tallied 7 points, Chase Sartin hit 2 three pointers for 6 points,
Baden Gillispie hit a three pointer for his points, Weston Hardin finished with 3 points as well, Derek Larimer and Lucas Maynard had 2 points each.
The Dawgs hit 7 three pointers and went 12-20 from the charity stripe.
On Monday night in the home opener it was Morgan Co. picking up the road win over the Bulldogs 73-54 in the opening game for both teams.

Lawrence Co. will return to action on Saturday afternoon vs Franklin Co. in the Kentucky Bank Classic game time is 4:15 at Paris high school. On Tuesday at Sheldon Clark and on Thursday at Tolsia.
