COACH’S COMMENTS

“… What a game. I couldn’t be more proud of our girls and how hard they played. We couldn’t make an outside shot in the first half. I told the girls to crash the glass and we were able to get some put backs and keep the score close. We told them at the half to just keep shooting and shoot with conviction and boy did Sophie Adkins take that to heart. Man, what a shooting performance from her. The difference in us this year is we’ve had scoring from many different people in each game. If someone’s not able to knock shots down someone else steps up. It’s been great to see that. We are very excited to be in the semi finals on Friday night. It’ll be another late one but we’re excited for the opportunity.
