COACH’S COMMENTS

“… Another good District win against Floyd Central. It was one of the best atmospheres that we’ve had in a long time. Special thanks to everyone that came out and supported our boys and girls.

“… Proud of our guys for battling some adversity and pulling out the win at Pike Co. Central on Saturday. They are a very dangerous team that can get hot quick. We were up 15 at half and they came out and hit 5 threes in the 3rd quarter. Our guys stayed calm and continued to fight off their runs. Winning games like that is good at this point in the year.”

“… Definitely a tough one at Magoffin Co. but we can take away a positive and that is now we know we have some things we have to clean up and get better at. Hopefully we can use this as as a learning lesson heading into February. Our guys do not like to lose and I am confident they will bounce back and get better because of it.”
