Pikeville, Ky — Four Lawrence Co. Bulldogs were recently named to the Mountain Top Sports All Area team after finishing runner up in the 15th Region. The team is made up of players from the 14th and 15th Region.
LCHS Senior Tyler Maynard was named to the first team after averaging 20.6 and 6.2 rebounds per contest.
Sophomore Cody Maynard who really emerged in the postseason landed on the second team with 15.7 points per game and hit 64 three pointers.

Senior Chase Sartin and Sophomore Trenton Adkins made Special Honorable mention after averaging 8.9 and 10.9 points per game.

Shelby Valley senior standout Cody Potter has worked his way to the top of the mountain among 15th Region athletes. He finished his senior season averaging 24.6 points per game and 10 rebounds, while helping the Wildcats reach the regional tournament semifinals.
Potter’s body of work has earned him Mountain Top Sports’ Player of the Year honors. His team finished 25-8. He leads an outstanding group of hoopsters honored Tuesday.
Martin County sophomore Brady Dingess was named captain of the first team, scoring 16.5 points per game while helping the Cardinals reach the Sweet 16 for the first time in 37 years.
Paintsville senior Nick Keeton captains the second team He averaged 15.4 points per game and averaged 12.3 boards.
Letcher Central’s Parker Williams heads the third team. He scored 13.4 points per game and helped lead the Cougars to the 14th Region semifinals.
Martin County head coach Jason James captured the Coach of the Year honor after leading the Cardinals to the 15th Region championship and berth in the Sweet 16 for the first time in 37 years.
