David Austin Henderson

1956 – 2017

David Austin Henderson, 60, passed away at Kings Daughters Medical Center Monday, July 3, 2017.

He was born September 4, 1956 in Ashland, Ky., the son of the late William and Marie Henderson. He was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Henderson and a nephew, Timmy Henderson.

Surviving are his loving wife of 40 years, Diana Hughes Henderson, a daughter, Althea Henderson, a son, Joshua Henderson all of Louisa, Ky., a brother, Tom (Connie) Henderson of Catlettsburg, Ky., two sisters, Mary Sue Driver of Lexington, Ky.,Shirley Bennett of Indiana. Three nephews, Scott Driver, Tommy Henderson, Kenton Henderson. Three nieces, Shirley Lee, Sharla, and Sherry.

David was retired from AEP. He preached the gospel for more than 30 years. He was a man of faith and devoted to his wife and family.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Young Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Noah Wilks, Rev. Jerry Hughes and Rev. Gordan Crisp officiating. Burial will follow at the Henderson Cemetery, Louisa, Ky.

Visitation will be held 5:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Young Funeral Home Chapel.
