Danny Thompson, 58, of Louisa, KY went home to be with Lord on Friday, December 27, 2019.

Danny was born October 14, 1961 in Lawrence County to Freddie Willard and Ruby (King) Thompson. In addition to his father, Danny was preceded in death by his sister Amanda Thompson.

Danny attended Charley Freewill Baptist Church and over the years was a Volunteer with Louisa Fire Department, Blaine Fire Department, Webbville Fire Department, and Lomansville Fire Department.

Survivors include his wife Ginger Thompson; children Melissa Wilford, Ellie Mae (Laken Wilson) Thompson, Tiffany (Dewey) Fletcher, Daniel Thompson, and Jerri (Kelly) Castle; grandchildren Michael Wolford, David Wolford, Isabella Delgado, Benjamin Castle, and Ina Castle; brother Tobbie Thompson; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and special friends Sindy Hughes, Brian Pauley, and Missy Thompson.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Charley Freewill Baptist Church with Brother Todd Webb officiating. Burial will follow at the Thompson Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family from 11:00 AM until time of service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to help offset funeral expenses.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Thompson and his family.
