Crestview Hills, Ky. — Lawrence Co. senior Tim Dalton had 16 points to help lead the Kentucky All Stars to a 94-90 victory over the Ohio All Stars Saturday night at Thomas More College in the 25th annual Kentucky vs Ohio All star game. Dalton was named a starter for the Ky team.
Dalton decommited from Salem International a little while back and has reopened his recruitment. He is looking to visit Morehead St. after taking a visit to Eastern Kentucky University. Dalton is also considering TNG Prep academy near Knoxville, Tennessee.
Earlier this week Dalton was named the Ashland Daily Independent player of the year for the second straight season. He averaged a Nation’s best 37.4 points per game and also collected 11.4 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 2.5 steals and 1.2 blocks per contest. Couple of weeks ago Dalton was named first team all state by the Lexington Herald Leader.
Lawrence Co. Head Coach Travis York was named Co Coach of the year for the 2016-17 season by the Daily Independent. York has 70 wins in his three seasons as the Bulldog head Coach.
Lawrence Co. 8th Grader Jared Wellman was named Honorable Mention by the Daily Independent.
