1937 – 2016

Robertson Curtis copyCurtis Robertson, 78 of Fort Gay, WV passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa.

He was born in Fort Gay on October 17, 1937 to the late Cecil and Nellie Dunn-Robertson. Curt was a welder having worked for American Car and Foundry for over 30 years and he attended the Tomahawk Freewill Baptist church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a special sister-in-law Margaret Wagner.

Curt leaves behind a loving and devoted family including his wife of nearly 55 years Karen Lee Edwards-Robertson of Fort Gay; two daughters Leann (Jim) Howard of Louisa and Annette (John) Gaskins of Scott Depot; three grandchildren Katie (Eric) McGinnis of Louisa, Bobbi Howard of Louisa and Jake Gaskins and his fiancée Megan Mancuso of Bridgeport, WV; a very special Great Granddaughter Gracie McGinnis; one sister Margaret Lou Zeiters of Louisa; three brothers Claude Robertson of Fort Gay, Delbert Robertson of Fort Gay and Cecil Edward Robertson of Ashland; a special sister-in-law Mary Lynn Smith of Lavalette as well as many friends and extended family members all of whom will miss him.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Fort Gay Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 5-8 pm at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
