CRUM SWEEPS FORT GAY IN MATCHUP OF FUTURE REBELS

Fort Gay, W. Va. — Crum broke open a tight game with a huge second half to defeat Fort Gay 36-23 in Girls middle school action Thursday evening in front of a great crowd.

Autumn Block led the Lady Mountaineers with 18 points, Kaylee Johnson and Gracie Hodge had 4 points each, Lysina Jude and Karigan Salmons had 3 points each, Julie Young and Quistus Stanley had 2 points each.

Torrie Douglas led the Lady Vikings with 12 points, Hailey Collie had 8 points, Alissa Ramsbottom and Bailey Rose had 2 points each.

Fort Gay 6 3 7 7 – 23

Crum took care of Fort Gay in the Boys game to complete the sweep and move to 10-1 on the year. The Vikings fell to 2-3 in Wayne Co. play this year.

Steven Ward led the Mountaineers with 16 points, Jesse Muncy tallied 14 points including 2 three pointers, Chris Johnson chipped in with 12 points including 2 three pointers, Ethan Dorton, Ray Muncy and Nick Block had 2 points each.

Crum hit 4 three pointers and went 4-6 from the line.

For the Vikings it was Carson Campbell leading with 6 points, Dylan Dawson and Eli Blackburn with 4 points each, Ben Clayton hit a three pointer, Elijah Fox and Big B Herald had 2 points each.

Fort Gay hit 2 three pointers and went 3-12 from the line.
