LOUISA, KY., February 3, 2022 – 0213 pm — Louisa Police Department & Lawrence County Sheriff office was requested by the Wayne County 911 to BOLO for a green 1997 Chevy Silverado stolen from the Marathon gas station on Route 52 outside Fort Gay.

Officers from the Lawrence Count Sheriff office and Louisa Police located the vehicle on KY 644 turning onto the Meadowbrook Lane.

Suspect Aaron Justice, 29, of Crum WV refused to comply with officer’s signal to stop and fled through the Meadowbrook area towards downtown.

LPD officers deployed tire deflation device as the subject got to the bridge. Suspects’ vehicle was disabled and stopped at Community Trust Bank in Fort Gay where a foot pursuit began.

Suspect was apprehended without further incident. Case remains under investigation by the West Virginia State Police. Assisting agencies Louisa Police, Lawrence County Sheriff and Wayne County Sheriff Office.
