Clayton Ward, 74, of Fort Gay, WV went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday November 3, 2020 at his home in Fort Gay, with his lovely wife of 47 years by his side.

Clayton was born July 5, 1946 in Williamson, WV to the late Ora and Hazel Marcum Ward of Crum, WV.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Ward Collins, three brothers, Kenneth, Walter, and Jennings Ward, three sisters, Shirley and Virginia Ward and Geneva Dusley, one nephew, Jason Ward, and two great-grandsons, Bentley Mann and Braxten Mann.
Survivors include his forever love, Faye Ward of Fort Gay, WV, three daughters, Lori (Joe) Bontkowski, of SC, Kennett (Eric) Crawford of Sandy Hook, KY, and Betty Jo (Sean) Muncy, seven grandchildren, Lafaye (Dale) Mann, Clayton (Deanna) Muncy, Wayne (Kenisha) Muncy, Shawn Dustin Muncy, U.S. Army, Fort Bragg, NC, Josh Bontkowski, Savannah Crawford, and Orianna Crawford, four great-grandchildren, Anthony Mann, Gabby Mann, Brixleigh Muncy, and Davian Muncy, one brother, Clinton (Erma) Ward of Fort Gay WV, two sisters, Gladys (Dave) Meade of Louisa, KY, and Linda Ward of Tiro, Ohio, and a lot of nieces and nephews.
Clayton was very proud of his family.  Anyone that knew Clayton, loved him.  He will be missed dearly.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at 2pm at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Jessie Spaulding officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ward Cemetery on Lost Creek in Fort Gay, WV.

Friends may visit the family on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Wilson Funeral Home from noon until the time of services.

All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
