CIRCUIT COURT: MILLS GETS 23 YEARS ON DRUG CHARGES

LAWRENCE COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT

February 21, 2017

Lawrence Circuit Judge John D. Preston held court Friday in Louisa. Here are the results of the circuit court docket:

 

Grover J. AllenGrover Allen, 36, pled guilty and will receive 2 years on Complicity 1st degree Possession of a Controlled Substance/Cocaine, 1st Offense, 3 years on Complicity Attempt/Obtain a Controlled Substance by Fraud/False by Statement/Forgery, 3 years on Tampering with Physical Evidence and 12 months on Complicity Use/Possess Drug Paraphernalia, 1st offense. All Concurrent and Supervised Probation over 3 years.

Final sentencing will be held on 3-10-17.

 

Christopher Bartram, 32 was present and pled guilty to Flagrant Non Support. The defendant received 1 year to serve and will be final sentenced on 3-10-17.

 

 

Jessica BlevinsJessica Blevins, 35 was on the docket for 2 counts of Complicity 1st Degree Possession of Controlled Substance, Cocaine, 1st offense and Complicity Possession/use of Drug Paraphernalia, 1st offense but did not show up for her court date. A bench warrant for the defendant is pending.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Christopher J. BordersChristopher Borders, 45 was present on charges of Wanton Endangerment 1st degree and Terroristic Threatening. A trial date is set for 4-22-17.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Christopher BowensChristopher Bowens, 35 was on the docket for a Motion To Revoke Probation. Defendant was not present and a bench warrant was issued.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Alexis J. BoydAlexis Boyd, 23 was on the docket for Bail jumping 1st degree, Complicity 1st degree Possession of Cocaine, 1st offense and Complicity to Use/Possess Drug Paraphernalia.

The defendant was not present according to the court, she is in a rehabilitation program.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Barrett Branham Barrett Branham, 33 was arraigned on Flagrant Non Support and a pretrial date was set for 3-10-17.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Shawn A. FitzpatrickShawn Fitzpatrick, 22 was present for sentencing on Complicity Receiving Stolen Property (firearm) 5 years, Wanton Endangerment, 1st degree, 5 years, Complicity Tampering With Physical Evidence, 5 years. All 15 years run concurrent for the defendant to do 5 years.

Revocation of Bond on sentencing and the defendant was remanded to custody.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sandra K. HatfieldSandra Hatfield, 37 had a motion before the court for Shock Probation. The motion was denied.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Terry Hensley Terry Hensley, 43 pled guilty and will be sentenced to 3 years of supervised probation (and other conditions) on Assault, 4th degree (domestic violence) 3rd or more in five years on one case and on a second case the defendant pled guilty to Assault, 4th degree (domestic violence) 3rd or more in 5 years (3 years) Criminal Mischief, 3rd degree was dismissed, Terroristic Threatening, 3rd degree was dismissed, Alcohol Intoxication In a Public Place, 1 and 2nd offense was dismissed.

Final sentencing will be on 3-10-17.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kayla J. Horn HuntKayla Hunt, 29 was present for a motion for Shock Probation. The motion was denied.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Johnny J. JudeJohnny Jude, 36 was sentenced to 3 years (concurrent with a Martin Co. case) on Complicity Receiving Stolen Property u/$10,000.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Wendy JudeWendy Jude, 31 was arraigned on Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine) Drug Paraphernalia buy/possess and Public Intoxication Controlled Substance.

Pretrial date set for 3-10-17.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Joseph E. LoweJoseph Lowe, 33 was sentenced to 5 years Supervised Probation with a pretrial diversion on Complicity Manufacturing Methamphetamine, 1st offense.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Candy N. MayCandy May, 24 was sentenced to 2 years supervised probation with a pretrial diversion on Complicity to Manufacture Methamphetamine, 1st offense.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jonathan D. MillsJonathan Mills, 37 was sentenced to 5 years on Complicity Trafficking In a Controlled Substance, 1st degree, 10 years on Complicity Manufacturing Methamphetamine, 2 years on Complicity Trafficking In a Controlled Substance, 1st degree (methamphetamine) 2 years on Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st degree, 6 months on Complicity Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess and On Persistent Felony Offender, it was amended from 1st to 2nd.

The sentence was enhanced to 23 years with all counts to run concurrently.

 

 

William M. MuncyWilliam Michael Muncy, 43 was sentenced to 3 years on each of 3 counts of Burglary, 3rd degree, 3 years on each of 2 counts of Fraudulent Use of ID Card of Electronic Code for Benefits, 18 months on 1st Degree Possession of Cocaine, 1st offense, 30 days for Operating on a Suspended License, and The Persistent Felony Offender charge enhances Counts 1-5 from 5 to 10 years to serve.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Robert D . PowersRobert Powers, 24 was arraigned on Fleeing or Evading Police, 1st degree, Operating MV Under The Influence of Alc/Drugs .08, aggravator, Receiving Stolen Property U/10,000, Assault 4th Degree Domestic Violence Minor Injury and Reckless Driving.

Pretrial date set for 3-10-17.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Steven L. PriceSteven Price, 29 was present on charges of Rape, 1st degree, Victim Under 12 years of age. A trial date was set for 8-7-17 with a report date for 6-23-17.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Wayne A ReynoldsWayne Reynolds, 24 was sentenced to 5 years of supervised probation on Complicity Manufacturing Methamphetamine, 1st offense.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Alyssa L. RobertsAlyssa Roberts, 28 was sentenced to 10 years supervised after serving 5 on Complicity Manufacturing Methamphetamine, 1st offense.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jason L. ShortJason Short, 38 was sentenced to 5 years on Complicity Manufacture Methamphetamine with Persistent Felony Offender dismissed. On a separate case 3 years for Fleeing or Evading Police, 1st degree, 3 years for Wanton Endangerment, 1st degree and Persistent felony offender enhancing from 3 to 5 years all to run consecutive for a total of 10.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jack D. SmithJack Smith, 44 was again in court with several motions being heard in preparations for his trial on 3 counts of Complicity to Murder, 3 counts of Complicity to Robbery, 1st degree and Arson, 2nd degree.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

David W. ThompsonDavid Thompson, 58 was sentenced to 5 years of supervised probation with a diversion on Complicity Manufacturing Methamphetamine.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Shirley VencillShirley Vincell, 29 was not present on charges of Complicity Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st degree, Tampering With Physical Evidence, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Use/Possess Drug Paraphernalia and a bench warrant is still pending.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Eric T. WardEric T. Ward, 21 pled guilty and waived additional PSI to be sentenced this date. Defendant sentenced to 2 and a half years on Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, and 2 and a half years on Theft by Unlawful Taking. These charges are to be run concurrent, but consecutive to other case.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Billi J. WebbBilli J. Webb, 31 pled guilty to an amended charge of Complicity Manufacturing Methamphetamine and received time served.

Matthew Webb Matthew Webb, 33 was on the docket for charges of Complicity Manufacturing Methamphetamine, 1st offense and Persistent Felony Offender. The defendant could not be present because of being hospitalized. Reset for March, 10th.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Roger D. WebbRoger Webb, 40 was sentenced to 20 years for Complicity Manufacturing Methamphetamine, 3 years on Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st degree, 5 years for Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Persistent Felony Offender. Concurrent to 3 years to Possession of a Controlled Substance, and 12 months for Drug Paraphernalia buy/possess.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mattew R. CaudillMatthew R. Caudill, 35 was arraigned on 2 counts of 1st Degree Possession of Controlled Substance/Cocaine, 1st offense, Operating MV Under/Influence of Alcohol Drugs, etc. .08, Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess, and operating on Suspended/Revoked Operators License. On another case Complicity 1st Degree Possession of CS/Cocaine. 1st offense, Complicity Use/Possess Drug Paraphernalia. Pretrial set for 3-10-17.
