Christine Preston 70, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.

Christine was born November 13, 1952 in Martin County, KY to the late Joe and Hazel (Maynard) Fletcher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Roger Fletcher, sisters Earnestine Perry and Eunice Jude; and brothers in law Clyde Perry, Andy Jude, and Ed Lowe.

Christine was a homemaker and a member of 6th Street Church of Christ in Paintsville.

Survivors include her husband Ted Preston; children Hershel (Susan) Jude, Jr., Jason (Jessica) Jude; and Judy (Lars) Hershey; grandchildren Lucas, Cora, Zaine, Madison, Chloe, Abigail, and Declan; and siblings Jean (Woody) Jude, Lacy (Wanda) Fletcher, Bertha Jude, Gordon (Kay) Fletcher, Sam Fletcher, Ann (Delbert) Spence, Else Lowe, Dorothy (Cecil) Cook, and Mary Spence.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, March 13, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Michael Spradlin officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast.

Friends may visit the family on Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to help offset funeral expenses.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Preston and her family.
