Charles Donald “Donnie” Ward, 65, of Fort Gay, WV went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Three Rivers Medical Center.

Charles was born April 10,1957 in Louisa, KY to Julie Ann Ward Booth.

Donnie is survived by sisters Laura (Steve) Compton, Annita Ward, and Pearl (Wes) Slone; brothers Larry Booth, Johnny (Elsie) Ward, and Harry Booth; nieces and nephews Cynthia Ward, Krystal (Justin) Hay, Renee Ward, Lucas Frasher, David Slone, Chris Slone, Shay Slone, Harold Slone, Julieanna Slone, and Louie Sloan; and many great nieces and nephews.

Donnie was loved by anyone who met him. He had too many friends to name. He will be missed by everyone he met.

A Memorial Service will be conducted Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Ward and his family.
