Louisa, Ky. — Lawrence Co. ( 0-1 ) will welcome the Montgomery Co. Indians ( 0-1 ) into Luke Varney Jr. Memorial stadium tonight at 7:30.
The Dawgs coming off a loss to Boyd Co. 24-20 last week on the road. The Indians fell to Collins 34-18 at home last Saturday night. The two teams met in Mount Sterling last year with Montgomery Co. winning 28-14.
Both teams have new head coaches in 2016.
LC needs to clean up the penalties and win the turnover battle tonight vs MC. Most teams show a ton of improvement from week 1 and week 2.
I look for this one to be a close one with the team making the fewest mistakes winning the ballgame.
