LOUISA, KY — The future is bright for Lawrence Co. Tennis in both Boys and Girls after a great 2018 season that ended with 6 players making it to the State Tournament in Lexington last month and those same 6 players were named to the Ashland Daily Independent All Area team this week.
On the Girls side it was seniors to be Maci Pollack and Katelyn Pauley along with junior to be Eden Webb
On the Boys side it was Senior to be Noah Fairchild, Sophomore to be Brock Kissinger and Freshman to be S. J. Lycans.
The Tennis Dawgs won a bunch of matches this past season and another region title. 2019 looks to be even better with the kids improving throughout the year.

COACH’S COMMENTS
“… All six players performed well during regional tourney, qualified for state play and played well at the state level. Winning regional titles is excellent but these players have their eyes set on state advancement in 2019.
“…Be ready to follow LC tennis next spring! This fall LC middle school tennis takes off for its debut season. We’ve already had a great turnout of grades 6-8 this summer. LC tennis is on the move with many great things ahead.”
