BULLDOG STANDOUTS FLETCHER AND DAVIS PLAY IN EAST/WEST ALL-STAR GAMES

Danville, Ky. — Lawrence Co. Baseball was represented by Eli Fletcher and Braxton Davis in the KHSBCA East/West All-Star Game at Centre College. 

Fletcher played third base for the East team in the Junior All-Star game with his team winning 3-0. Fletcher made a couple nice plays defensively and went 0-2 at the plate with two fly outs. 

Fletcher led the Bulldogs with .469 batting average, had 46 hits including 19 doubles, and 2 home runs, 32 runs batted in and scored 40 runs from his leadoff spot. 

Fletcher was also named 58th District player of the year and landed on the 15th Region All-Tournament team as well. 

Junior to be Braxton Davis was the East starting pitcher in the Sophomore game and went 2 innings with 3 strikeouts, no runs and no hits. 

Davis was 6-1 during his sophomore campaign with a .271 ERA and struck out 51 batters. 

Davis was named to the 58th District team and the 15th Region All-Tournament team.
