Brenda Kay Grim of Flat Gap, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at her home following a long illness.
Brenda was born January 6, 1955 at Martin County, Kentucky to the late Sam and Ella Goble Muncy. She was also preceded in death by her brother Eldon Muncy.
Brenda is survived by her children Sammy (Heather) Grim and Eileen Grim; grandchildren Emma (Cameron) Hall, Morgan Grim, and Katie Grim; and great grandson Jameson Hall. She is also survived by her sisters Ellen McCoy; Peggy Sammons; and Pearlie (Danny) Diamond; brothers James, Joseph and Sam (Anita) Muncy; her former husband Dorris Grim; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Philip Kirk officiating. Burial will follow in the Goble Family Cemetery in Martin County.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 11:00 AM until time of service at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Ms. Grim and her family.
