Boone Burke

Boone Burke, 82 of Catlettsburg, Kentucky passed away Friday, June 9, 2017 at his home.

Boone was born January 2, 1935 in Halo, Kentucky a son of the late Wiley and Flotilla Childers Burke. Boone retired from Ashland Oil after serving many years as a foreman, he was also a United States Army Veteran who served his country honorably. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by all of his siblings.

Survivors include, his loving wife, Opal Jean Humphrey Burke of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; son, Rob (Renee) Burke of Van Lear, Ky.; daughter, Ann (Raymond) Bradley of Fayetteville, TN. Grandchildren, Haley Leanne Burke of Van Lear, Ky.; Colby Ray Bradley of Fayetteville, TN; two special nephews, John (Carol) Bentley of Louisa, Ky.; and Robert Baugh of Hamilton, IN.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Noah Wilks officiating. Burial will follow at the Humphrey Cemetery, Catlettsburg, Ky.

Visitation will be held 5:00 pm until 9:00 PM Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Young Funeral Home Chapel.
