The award of the contract will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated bid price. In determining the lowest evaluated bid price, the Lawrence County Board of Education will consider the price, number of days required to provide services at, level of insurance coverage, number of mowers with 54” mowing decks, number of similar contracts, and company safety policy. Further information and the specs to bid may be obtained from the Office of the Superintendent or by calling 606-638-9671.  The Lawrence County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid that may be deemed to be in the Board’s favor on the basis of the lowest evaluated bid price.  In accordance with KRS 45A.490 – KRS 45A.494, reciprocal preference to resident bidders is to be followed to the extent that it does not conflict with federal law.

Going through the motions. It goes to the same person every year. Whenever a realitive is good friends with a board member and you are also you win even if you are the high bidder. First off it’s none of their business how many mowers you have . You can buy more mowers. Similar contracts. Lol that’s a good one. It’s all geared toward who they want. Can you say spending your tax dollars wisely? NOT
