Kayla Moore VanHoose, along with a host of former college and high school volleyball players, have opened Bluegrass Volleyball Academy of Eastern Kentucky and are holding open tryouts for their first club team. The team will be for ages 17 and under.
This academy will be the first of its kind in Eastern Kentucky and will operate on a satellite basis in different gyms across the region.
Players can schedule individual workouts with multiple former position players to improve their skills in the off-season.
Their first tryout for their club team, which will operate under USA Volleyball’s Pioneer Region, will be Thursday, November 15th at Johnson County Middle School in Paintsville, KY.
