Billy R. Adams 

1933 — 2018

 

Billy R. Adams, 84, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on March 4, 2018 following a brief illness.

Billy was born Nov. 14, 1933 at Aflex, KY, the son of the late Grover and Martha Adams. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Emma Lou Miller Adams who died in 2011. Billy was a retired coal miner and a Wal Mart Greeter. Billy served his country in the United States Air Force.

Survivors include a son James Ray Adams also of Louisa; three grandchildren Sarah Horn, James Ray Adams II; and Brittany Adams; three great grandchildren Courtney Smith, Skyler Horn, and Hayden Horn; and a daughter-in-law Melody Adams.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 7, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Marcum officiating.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6pm to 9pm at the funeral home

Military Honor Rites will be performed by members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.

Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
