On Thursday night at Home Lawrence Co. put up 10 goals to move to 2-0 on the young season.

Kylie Maynard scored three times, Victoria Clevenger and Zayla Granillo scored twice each, Scyler Bowens, Adysan Crum and Jordan Stepp found the net once apiece.

Goal Keeper Allyson Moore was in the net for the SoccerDawgs.

Lawrence Co. will return to action Monday night at Home vs Pike Co. Central.

SoccerDawgs Head Coach Kyle Snaitecki

“… We started out well in terms of possession, but thought we were still playing at a slower tempo than what we have been training at. Typical though since its first game of season and some nerves probably played into it.” Once we settled in (mainly in 2nd half) thought we did some good things.”

“… Happy with how the girls responded from the halftime talk and glad we could finish and gain some confidence. Bunch of things we still need to work at and be better on, but always nice to start the season off at home with a win.”Looking forward to continuing to play better and another victory against Pikeville.”
