Betty Jane Smith 

1959 — 2016

Betty Jane Smith, 57, of Louisa, KY went to be with the Lord on Sunday October 23, 2016 following a brief illness.

Betty was born April 5, 1959 at Inez, KY the daughter of the late Martin and Gertrude Moore Smith. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her siblings Daisy Hunt, Polley Spence, Rebecca Smith, and Martin Smith Jr.

Survivors include five sisters Flossie Raines of Louisa, Thelma Nunley of Portsmouth, Ohio, Josephine Kazee also of Louisa, Nancy Marcum and Nellie Spence both of Inez, KY; two brothers, Allen Smith of Michigan and Albert Smith of Inez, KY; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday Oct. 25 at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Albert P. King along with New Hope Association officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery on Coldwater Creek at Inez, KY.

Friends may visit the family on Monday Oct. 24 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
