COACH’S COMMENTS

“… Overall we needed to take this trip and make it a positive impact on our team. We feel like we are better now than when we arrived Saturday evening and that was the goal.”

“… Jake Derifield was a stud for us this week. Pitched it like an ace- played excellent defense in the OF and continues to be very productive offensively.”

“… Blake Prater had a great week behind the plate. He’s had times where he’s been a little unsure of himself, but he was really good this week which will hopefully build his confidence level.”
