Louisa, Ky — Coming off a record setting season Lawrence Co. Baseball was set to possibly compete for a State Championship in 2020 but all that has been put on hold this past week with the Coronavirus outbreak.
Dawg Seniors hoping for one more shot
The Bulldogs won a school record 35 games last season, capturing District and Region titles before losing in the first round of the state tournament against Rowan Co. at Morehead St. University.
The team returns a trio of Seniors led by Morehead St. signee Jackson Feltner, UPike Signee Tyler Maynard and UPike Commit CJ Fairchild plus Kentucky Commit Sophomore Bryce Blevins along with Juniors Jacob Fletcher and Ethan Whitt, Sophomores Brayden Maynard, Blue Fletcher, Mo Chicko and Mason Preston, Freshman Will Lafferty and Abner Collinsworth will also contribute if the season is played.
