Barbara Ann Jones, 78, of Fort Gay, WV went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV.
Barbara was born November 4, 1943 in Bath County, KY to the late Buster and Gertrude (Otis) Crouch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Juanita (Raymond) Jones, Mary Frances Banks, Emma Lee (Harold) Bailey, Jimmy Crouch and brother in law Calvin Ingram.
Barbara loved her family and was happiest loving and caring for them. She enjoyed traveling with her husband. They have seen many places in the world together, from Newfoundland to Antarctica. Barbara bred Pomeranians for over 20 years and they brought her so much love and joy.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years Mac Lee Jones; children Johnny (Patty) Jones, Jeanie (David) Anderson, and Roy (Mindy) Jones; grandchildren Matthew Dale (Bobbie) Adkins, Dustin Murphy, Tyler (Ella) Jones, Johnny Jones, Matthew Michael Jones, Christopher (Sherry) Huey, Justin Huey, Rebecca Anderson, Levi Anderson, Lauren Grace (Carlos) Rodriguez, Elizabeth Ruth (Michael) Chaney; many great grandchildren; siblings Ida Wayne Creech, Lucille Ingram, Kenneth (Diane) Crouch, Stanley (Mary) Crouch, Melvin Crouch, Cookie (Brent) Buckler; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 11, 2022 at 12:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Dwayne Crouch officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast.
Friends may visit the family on Friday, March 11, 2022 at from 10:00 AM until time of service in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
