Community Bike Ride theme this month is ‘Back to School’

This Sunday, August 5th, the Louisa/Lawrence County Trail Town Team will be hosting a “BACK TO SCHOOL BIKE BASH” at 3 pm.

The Community Bike Ride as usual will begin and end at the Louisa Main Street Park.

The theme this month is “Back to School” and the Trail Team hopes to see every school in our area represented on this bike ride including not just the public schools but the private schools and home schools.

“We also want to invite our WV neighbors over to cruise with us” stated Cathi Kise Wells, chairperson of the TT Team. “We know that they aren’t going back to school next week like many of our schools here but it would be great for them to join us as we are ONE  community! And we would love to see lots of teachers and school employees out with the students on this ride also!”

The TT team would love for kids to dress in their school colors and even decorate their bikes if they like… but it isn’t a requirement. And as always, there will be free water available courtesy of the TT team.

For more information, please check out the Louisa/Lawrence County Trail Town Committee Facebook page and send a message!
